Mammoth Engagement Session : Leslie and Tim

Once in a while, we receive requests to travel to special places to photograph engagement sessions. It's something that doesn't happen too often, but when it does we try to take full advantage of the opportunity. We've been to San Francisco a few times and also New York City a few times and it's always a blast. When I first met Leslie and Tim, they wanted to do something different for their session. I was excited because we are always up for the challenge! Their special place? Mammoth Lakes, CA.

St. Regis Monarch Beach Wedding : Angela and Otis

The St. Regis Monarch Beach is a very special place for us. We had our wedding there almost 12 years ago! :) So when we get the chance to be the photographer at the St. Regis, we always get pretty excited. Every time we come back to the St. Regis, we spend a few minutes reminiscing about our wedding.

Malibu Beach Engagement Session : Tiffany and Ben

We are often asked by our clients what beaches are nice to have an engagement session. We usually respond with something like "We usually like beaches that have some sort of landscape features around. It helps with variety so it's not just sand and water."

Sylvia and Vance : Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel Wedding

We are so happy to share Sylvia and Vance's wedding at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. It was one of those days that we tend to take for granted here in Southern California. It was a gloomy morning but as is normal this time of year, the haze went away and the sun greeted us along with a clear blue sky. It's always so much fun to shoot at the Ritz...the scenery is always breathtaking.

Jessica and Fred : Santa Monica and Walt Disney Concert Hall Engagement Session

Scheduling engagement session in Southern California is usually pretty simple. Pick a day and the sun comes out and treats us to some amazing light. But on the days leading up to Jessica and Fred's engagement session, we had a few days of rain. Shocking, I know! We were worried that we had to reschedule the session, but the forecast said that things would clear up...and thankfully, it did. Southern California was treated to an amazing day.
