Our Story

This is us and our family!

We are JAN & TEY! We are award winning wedding photographers based in Orange County, CA. Since 2007, we have been fortunate enough to photograph over 300 weddings and events as Jan Garcia Photography. In 2015, we updated our company name to JAN & TEY to represent our partnership through the years. We specialize in documentary style wedding photography combined with modern and stylish portraits. We are able to tell the true story of the wedding day and also make our clients look good! To learn more about our philosophy on wedding photography, please visit Our Style page. As true students of photography, we always challenge ourselves to continually improve our craft.

Over the years, we have been honored to be featured speakers at the Foundation Conference and Canada Photo Convention which are conferences that gather wedding photographers from all over the USA and Canada. We have also taken an active role in education. Jan has been a mentor at the Foundation Workshop in Texas. Foundation is the preeminent workshop for photojournalism targeted at wedding photographers. Locally, we have given a wedding photography workshop in San Diego and also conduct classes for beginner photographers. I guess you can say we love photography!
